  • Any psychiatric or psychological disorders, or mental disorders
  • Any neurological ailments
  • Treatment for Parkinson and Alzheimer's disease or sleep apnea
  • Any external congenital diseases or defects
  • Stem cell therapy
  • AIDS or HIV, or any STDs
  • Any medical treatment is taken abroad
  • Any alternative medicine or therapy is undertaken

Eligibility Criteria to Buy the Aditya Birla Group Health Policy

This plan can be taken or enrolled by any member of the organization or employee of the company where the employer offers it. The plan coverage begins from day one of the joining of the employee.

Claim Process of the Aditya Birla Group Activ Health Plan

Aditya Birla Group health plan provides two methods of claim process:

  • Cashless Claim
  • Reimbursement Claim

Cashless Claim Process

The steps to be followed under cashless claim are:

  • The first thing that you need to do in case of hospitalization in a network hospital is to inform or notify Aditya Birla Health Insurance about your hospitalization with complete details.
  • You need to show your cashless claim card along with your valid ID proof.
  • Once the hospital has verified your identification, they will send the request form for cashless hospitalization to the insurance provider. For emergency hospitalization, it should be submitted within 48 hours, whereas for planned hospitalization, it should be submitted 3 days in advance
  • Aditya Birla Health Insurance officials will review the form and accept or reject it. Accordingly, payment will be made by them to the network hospital.

Reimbursement Claim Process

The steps to be followed under reimbursement claim are:

  • This process involves the settlement of hospitalization expenses in case of admission to a non-network hospital. Here you need first to settle the hospital amount after discharge and later file for the claim.
  • Once you get discharged from the hospital, you need to submit the required medical documents and reports to Aditya Birla Health Insurance within 15 days from the date of discharge.
  • Once you submit all the documents on time, Aditya Birla Health Insurance officials will review and verify your documents. If everything is correct, they will process your claim, and you will get the reimbursement amount as a bank transfer to your account.
