Ans: The ManipalCigna Lifestyle Protection Group Policy is issued in the name of the Company, Employer, Affinity Group or any MNC or organisation registered under approved government or private leadership that purchases this plan for its employees and their dependents.
So, the Company or Affinity organisation is the owner and purchaser of the Policy and is known as the Policyholder. The Policy states that all coverage and benefits must be paid to the Employees Group members, who are eventually the Insured Persons plus their immediate dependents.
Ans: Yes, any foreign national who is at present or at the time of purchase of the policy working in India in any organisation, corporate or affinity group and is earning in Indian rupees can be insured under this policy.
Ans: Any forms of medical treatment which does not come under the medical treatment of Allopathy or any form of modern medicine which includes Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, Sidha and any other form of natural, herbal or non-allopathic treatment in the Indian context.
Ans: If an insured person has gone through any act of violence or if he suffers from a traumatic accident or Critical Illness; in such a case reimbursement of the amount up to the specified limit which is made towards any kind of specialist consultation, counselling fees, and extended physiotherapy based on an out- patient. This optional coverage can be used and availed only once during the Policy Period.
Ans: In case of death or disability of the policyholder, his spouse and children will be entitled to get 100% of the sum insured as specified under the plan. Additionally, they will also be entitled to any eligible optional benefit which can be paid on fulfilment of specified conditions.
